Zip or clip fastening reduces stress on the incision when taking the garment on and off.
Whilst a second garment allows one to be worn while the other is washed, dried and rested, it can be better to wait until swelling reduces in case a smaller size is needed.

As the area of surgery increases and continuous cover is needed, garment options are more limited.
If the garment fastening is located over the area of abdomen or hip liposuction, ask your surgeon if it could affect the outcome.
