BreastCare wa (W.A.'s After Breast Surgery Fitting Specialists) was formerly known as La Femme Perth and was opened over 20 years ago by the Founder and now Patron of the Breast Cancer Foundation – Ros Worthington. Angela Staunton has more than 12 years surgical and corsetry fitting experience and joined Ros at La Femme in Queen Street in 2004, managing the store till August 2006. Angela then acquired the business and relocated outside of the city area in a private suite and as a Free community mobile service and BreastCare wa was born.

BreastCare wa offers products and professional advice on all breast fitting solutions.  Our purpose is to assist in restoring confidence and
self esteem to all women following breast surgery. Our caring and
highly trained staff will guide you though the many choices available
to suit your personal needs, ensuring a confidential and understanding environment at all times.

We are a Registered Provider for: Medicare and All Major Private Health Funds.

Other areas of assistance we can help with are financial applications
for funding from the Breast Cancer Foundation of W.A. (whom we
work closely with) and we have been instrumental in negotiations with major hospitals and government organizations for funding to assist women with the costs for post mastectomy and breast reconstructive surgery garments and prostheses for women receiving breast cancer treatments.    We provide community product education where we speak at women's group meetings, support associations, hospitals and medical forums.
We offer a FREE (By Appointment Only) home, hospital, retirement and nursing home fitting service to all clients within the metropolitan area or for those clients wishing to come to us, we have a private suite in Como.  Our service is extended to the rest of the state of W.A. and we have successfully provided remote fittings through email correspondence.

We also provide breast fitting solutions for women with other medical conditions such as Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Stroke and Poland 's Syndrome in the hope that we can make a real difference in their comfort, self esteem, confidence and independence.
We are listed on the Independent Living Website and many other websites that provide similar assistance to the aged.
